Ozel Ege Lisesi follows the curriculum set by the Turkish Ministry of Education. A range of additional elective courses are also offered to broaden and enrich the curriculum content (Management, Business Management, Economics, International Relations, Rhetoric and Public Speaking, Object-Oriented Programming, Astronomy and Space, Second Foreign Languages (French and German), Democracy and Human Rights, History and Applications of Mathematics, Computer Science, Art History, 2D Art and Design, 3-D Art and Design , Drama, Elective history, History of Turkish Culture and Civilization, Psychology, Sociology).
Each year a wide range of clubs are offered to students. These include Model United Nations (MUN), TOEFL / IELTS, critical thinking, debating society, chess, poetry, philosophy, drama (Turkish, French), modern dance, music, art, cooking, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming, athletics, journalism, and sign language. Students in grades 9, 10 and 11 are required to enroll in a minimum of one club each year.
With the aim of developing a sense of social responsibility, awareness and leadership, each student at Ozel Ege Lisesi participates in a Community Involvement Project (CIP) during their school years.
Exceptionally high performing students are selected for extracurricular study to research science projects for the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).
