Foreign Language Education – SMART Program

The SMART program begins with a preparatory structure in Grade 5 integrating English with mathematics, coding, and science. Students are grouped into Start Up, Open Road, and Turning Point proficiency levels.   

Students participate in global-awareness programs such as JMUN, YMGE, eTwinning, SDG initiatives, and the World Scholar’s Cup.   

Debate tournaments strengthen critical thinking and public speaking skills.   

Students complete Grade 8 at the B1+/B2 proficiency level and take Cambridge (Flyers–KET–PET–FCE) and TOEFL Junior exams.

 

Pre-AP Program 

As preparation for AP courses in high school, Grade 8 students take Pre-AP classes and receive internationally recognized certificates. 

 

Model United Nations (JMUN) 

Students participate in Model UN conferences at top universities such as Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. They develop diplomatic communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills. 

 

World Scholar’s Cup 

Students compete globally in a four-stage academic tournament: Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, Team Debate, and Scholar’s Bowl. This strengthens analytical thinking, academic writing, and public expression. 

 

Harvard Learn with Leaders 

This program supports leadership, problem-solving, public speaking, academic writing, and teamwork through training offered by Harvard Model Congress. 

 

Second Foreign Language – German / French 

Students begin their second foreign language journey in Grade 5 through digital platforms. By the end of middle school, they reach A1–A2 levels and may earn international certificates.
