Preschool Ages 4–5
Students learn English through play-based activities and the communicative approach. All lessons are structured around the themes of the SMART English Program, ensuring readiness for elementary-level English.
Preschool Ages 5–6
Students are introduced to SMART, our inquiry-based and differentiation-supported English program. SMART develops students’ skills in inquiry, research, responsibility, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership. Language learning is reinforced through visual arts and music lessons in a multidisciplinary manner.
English – “SMART” Program
The SMART English Program was developed by Özel Ege teachers and curriculum specialists to support English learning from preschool through middle school. The program centers around themes that interest students and integrates mathematics, science, and the arts for a multidisciplinary learning experience. SMART emphasizes accurate assessment of language skills through both process-based and product-based evaluation.
Technology is actively used to increase student participation and ensure transfer of learning to real life. English teachers also join classroom and branch teachers during visual arts, music, and morning routines to ensure continual exposure to English in daily life.
