What Is the eTwinning School Label?
eTwinning Schools integrate eTwinning values into school policies, practices, and professional development with the support of school leadership. The School Label recognizes not only individual teachers but the collective effort, collaboration, and commitment of teacher teams and school leaders. Schools that receive this label demonstrate readiness and willingness to engage in objectively measurable development activities.
The eTwinning School Mission Statement emphasizes:
- Shared leadership
- Collaboration and teamwork
- Student representation
- Social inclusion and innovation
- Serving as a role model for other schools
Schools awarded the eTwinning School Label actively implement and promote eTwinning pedagogy, serve as reference points for their local communities, and set standards for other schools.
With our school becoming an eTwinning School, the projects carried out by teachers, the support of administrators, and the schoolwide participation in student-centered activities demonstrate that our practices meet European standards defined by eTwinning and the Erasmus+ European Commission.
What Is the European Quality Label?

The European Quality Label evaluates the work of teachers and students participating in eTwinning projects. It is awarded to projects that rank among the highest-scoring recipients of the National Quality Label. These projects showcase exemplary international collaboration.
To receive the European Quality Label:
- The teacher must be nominated by at least one National Support Organization (NSO) following a screening process.
- Each NSO nominates the top three projects that earned National Quality Labels based on quality scores.
- At least two project partners must have already received the National Quality Label.
