Primary School Preparation Program

As Özel Ege Schools, the transition process of our students from kindergarten to 1st grade is one of the matters we place great importance on. The efforts we undertake in the field of preparation for primary school are planned from the very first day our students start kindergarten, covering all developmental areas.

Among the activities conducted to facilitate our students' transition to primary school and to increase their readiness levels are:
•    Visual and auditory perception,
•    Attention and memory,
•    Problem-solving, estimation, and core concept development practices.

As the Guidance Department, we conduct inventory applications at the end of the 1st and 2nd semesters to evaluate their progress in these areas, which we meticulously focus on during their educational processes. Following our first assessment, we inform parents and teachers regarding the areas in which our students need further development. In this way, we support the specific areas our students require until the second assessment.

We believe that childhood is a period that must be approached with sensitivity regarding emotional development. In preschool education, we strive to equip our students with the necessary skills to enable them to learn how to read and write in primary school. Through the phonics activities conducted by our teachers, we aim to instill phonetic awareness in our children. At the same time, by tracking our students' development through a holistic approach, we ensure they make a more prepared and confident start to primary school.
