Studying Abroad

Our academic faculty, trained in study-abroad counseling, guides our students throughout their high school lives in finding the universities best suited to them and developing their perspectives in line with educational opportunities abroad. Through our study-abroad counseling program, we direct our students to elite international universities they are interested in and wish to apply to. During the counseling process we carry out, we encourage our students to complete their applications to universities worldwide and take responsibility for their own application processes. Throughout the year, we inform our students in grades 9, 10, 11, and 12 about educational opportunities abroad by organizing individual meetings, alumni gatherings, and large conferences such as webinar meetings with leading overseas universities. Furthermore, we provide advisory services regarding required international examinations for overseas applications, including TOEFL, IELTS, and SAT. In line with this, the entirety of our students' application and admission processes to universities abroad is conducted and monitored under the guidance of our expert counselor teachers on campus. As a traditional success of Özel Ege, our graduating 12th-grade alumni who settle into elite global universities receive admissions from numerous international universities during the application process.

In addition to gaining admission to prestigious universities ranked among the top 1,000 globally according to the London-based higher education ranking institution Times Higher Education, our graduates are exempted from preparatory language programs at universities in Türkiye through high scores achieved in TOEFL or IELTS exams. Alongside university counseling, we also provide guidance to our students regarding international academic summer school programs.

Model United Nations (MUN)

International projects like Model United Nations—where students represent another country in committees as United Nations delegates—serve as another key area of our international collaborations. The MUN Club at our school has been operating actively since 2000. For 20 years, our students have been participating in world-renowned scientific events such as the Harvard, Yale, and Princeton Model United Nations conferences, enhancing skills such as research, public speaking, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.
