University Preparation Program
University Preparation Studies: These are targeted programs designed to help our students achieve their professional goals for higher education entrance examinations. A comprehensive guidance program is implemented throughout the university exam preparation process:
• Introduction of the Examination System
• Evaluation of Student Academic Progress
• Motivation Meetings
• Management of Exam Applications
• Strategy Development for Practice Exams
• Preference Counseling and University Selection Guidance
We acknowledge that university preparation is a long-term journey, and we approach these efforts holistically. From the very first day of 9th grade, through numerous events and academic initiatives, we support our students in self-discovery and goal-setting all the way through 12th grade.
Job Shadowing Program (Mesleki Gölge)
To assist our students in getting to know the professions they consider pursuing and making accurate career choices, we implement the "Job Shadowing Program." Our students spend a full day alongside a professional in a field of interest, gaining the opportunity to compare job requirements with their own personal traits and abilities. Within this framework, students explore diverse fields alongside professionals ranging from computer engineers and fashion designers to archaeologists and cardiologists. This allows students to observe and experience occupations directly within their real-world environments.
University Day
We organize the traditional "University Day" to enable our students not only to explore academic departments and professions, but also to learn about overall university facilities and opportunities. As part of this event, we invite representative institutions to our campus, providing valuable insights both to our own students and to visiting students from other schools.
Alumni Summit
Through our Alumni Summit, we bring together students with alumni who are actively engaged in professional careers. Our alumni share their high school experiences, how they leveraged the skills acquired at Özel Ege, key factors when selecting universities and majors, workforce expectations, personal growth pathways, and their progress toward career goals.
University Preparation Courses
Through our preparation framework, we monitor our students' academic progression and implement structured studies to ensure they advance to the next grade fully equipped. In May of their 11th-grade year, students begin university preparation courses. This phase is structured for 4 to 6 weeks. Preparation continues in August with an intensive 3-week program. When students start 12th grade, they cover both TYT (Basic Proficiency Test) and AYT (Field Qualification Test) topics in parallel, with the goal of completing the core curriculum by April at the latest.
Practice Exams – Topic Screening Tests (KTT)
Through common exams and Topic Screening Tests (KTT), we aim for our students to master test-taking techniques. Particularly in 12th grade, by administering nationwide practice exams, we allow students to see their performance and standing not only within the school, but across Türkiye as a whole. Additionally, through Topic Screening Tests conducted from 9th through 12th grade, we closely monitor individual development and carry out individual and group studies to enhance academic performance throughout the examination cycle.
Club Courses
We provide environments that support the cultural, social, artistic, and physical development of our students. To foster self-discovery aligned with their interests and aspirations, students can join a wide range of clubs—from Turkish or French theater to chess, swimming/water polo/underwater rugby to woodworking, and English graphic novels to contemporary world history.
Our high school club courses, which we believe contribute positively to our students' academic success, are structured as follows:
